The p50 is the coach Newell builds today, and it is about as close to a custom home on wheels as the industry gets. It is a 45-foot, quad-slide Class A on Newell's own bridge-truss chassis, powered by a 605-horsepower Cummins X15 with 1,950 lb-ft of torque through an Allison 4000, riding on a ZF active-damping suspension with an active-steer tag axle. Styling was developed with Porsche Design for the brand's 50th anniversary. Every p50 is ordered to one client's spec — floor plan, finishes, and systems — over roughly five and a half months, so no two are identical. Expect Aqua-Hot hydronic heat, four ducted ACs, a 20 kW diesel generator, and SubZero refrigeration. New, it runs roughly $2.4 to $2.8 million; this is the benchmark American ultra-luxury coach, and you pay accordingly.
