It is a fully custom conversion of Prevost's H3-45 — the tallest, most modern bus shell in the business, with about 505 cubic feet of underfloor storage, huge glass, and a flat floor that gives Featherlite's designers a clean canvas. No two are built alike: owners spec the layout, materials, and slide configuration, and Featherlite can engineer up to four slide rooms (including its proprietary flat-floor slides) while keeping the Prevost chassis warranty intact. Power on modern builds comes from a Volvo D13 diesel and an Allison automatic; older coaches used a 515-horsepower Detroit Diesel that reviewers praised as smooth and fatigue-free over the road.
